For more than 20 years ZyXEL has remained one of the world’s leading suppliers of networking products for various deployment requirements.
It’s the first choice of many tier-one service providers, connecting more than 400,000 small and medium-sized businesses, and upwards of 70 million end users around the globe.
The Brief
ZyXEL contacted Little Forest after reviewing several CMS consultancies globally.
Little Forest’s approach and recommendations of what ZyXEL should do with their platform led to our successful selection as the key partner to enable their 30 country global web rollout.
We were tasked with designing, building and rolling out a single framework in TeamSite to support ZyXEL’s global marketing strategy.
The Solution
Little Forest designed and built a framework which used the Taiwan global site as the “Golden Site” from which all others could re-use and extend functionality.
Key features of the solution included Multi-language and multi-country as well as a Translation workflow process. A centralised Product Management workflow was also built which enables easy sharing of Key Product data around the globe.
The Outcome
The highly successful launch of the Taiwan site within three months was quickly followed by the UK, Germany and five other key European sites with a four month period.
The hugely ambitious programme was launched on-time and on-budget.
Little Forest continues to work with ZyXEL and will have 30 countries on the platform by the end of 2012.
